Toen Geluk Nog Heel Gewoon Was is a photographic exhibition about, and along, the river Schie.
Photographs, archival material and maps connect the history of the landscape to the places encountered along bus route 40 between Rotterdam and Delft.
The exhibition questions the idea that ordinary happiness belongs to the past, and invites us to reconsider how it might be recognised in the present.
